J\u00e1 o Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade aponta que a m\u00e9dia de sono dos brasileiros \u00e9 de 6,4 horas por noite, abaixo das 7 a 9 horas recomendadas para adultos.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o otorrinolaringologista especialista em sono <b>Tiago Gon\u00e7alves<\/b>, da Unimed-BH, a priva\u00e7\u00e3o ou irregularidade do descanso pode causar queda de aten\u00e7\u00e3o, lapsos de mem\u00f3ria, irritabilidade, piora do humor e redu\u00e7\u00e3o da produtividade. No caso de f\u00e9rias longas ou semanas de hor\u00e1rios irregulares, a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o pode levar duas a tr\u00eas semanas.<\/p>\n<p>Manter hor\u00e1rios fixos para dormir e acordar e buscar luz natural logo pela manh\u00e3 s\u00e3o essenciais para essa transi\u00e7\u00e3o. Compensar a falta de sono com cochilos longos ou dormir muito nos fins de semana pode, na verdade, desorganizar ainda mais o rel\u00f3gio biol\u00f3gico. Esse fen\u00f4meno \u00e9 conhecido como jet lag social.<\/p>\n<p>O \u00e1lcool tamb\u00e9m prejudica o descanso.
